My go-to studio headphones
Bought these not too long ago, been using them almost everyday and more so when i need to tweak sounds with a decent level of accuracy.
I heard these were flatter than the DT770 but a lot older design and much lighter, they seem to be overlooked a lot nowadays.
Theyre really comfortable and light and i can wear them for hours, the only real downside about these is that the coiled cable is a bit heavy. I wish a short straight cable was available.
Build wise the part just under the headband where it can move feels like it would break easily if youre not careful, but im aware of it so i make sure to be gentle with them.
Ive also heard of balance issues with them in the past but mine are perfect so im guessing its been fixed since.
Love these headphones, the broadcast look may not appeal to a lot of people but i dont care. Good sound is where it matters to me.

No nonsense sound pleasure
These are my second pair. I've had the first pair for 15 years, and finally the cable broke after commuting to work for 5 years. Now I have the first pair at work with a new cable, and the new pair is used in my studio.
Sound quality is detailed without becoming tiresome after 8hour use. Honest and dynamic sound where it is easy to hear nuances in what you play. Also, a good recording will be recognized, as well as a lesser one. However, the bad one is not unlistenable.
I really don't have any complaints. Just enjoying the music!
Comparing the new pair with the used one, there is perhaps a little bit crisper sound in the new pair, but the overall character is the same. What else can you keep using after 15 years nowadays?
The construction is very clever, with replaceable parts, and easy change of plug size with the provided adapter.

Yes, it's plastic.
Yes, it's plastic.
It means lightness.
Plastic noise? No, it's solidly built. It's quiet.
These inform us that they are useful for long-term recording.
If your head is as big as ET, it's hard to operate.
But if you're an Earthman, you'd love this product.
It is possible that Reptilians is the one who is reluctant to use this product.

Industry standard
This is my second pair of DT-250s. The first pair were kept by an artist I work with after 'borrowing' them for rehearsals! He preferred them over his in-ears for live monitoring and he's known for his perfectionism.
I use them for everything in the studio as well as for live sound. They translate well and provide good isolation but they don't flatter the sound at all which I like.
They are over ear fit and closed back which I prefer, additional isolation can be achieved by pressing them onto the ears.
Confort is good and the fabric ear pads are better than vinyl types for prolonged use.
The build quality is sturdy so they travel well on my international touring work either with the flight cases or in my backpack.
I expect long service from my DT-250s and will probably buy more for studio clients to replace my DT-100s.

Good with Steinberg UR242
I previously used HyperX Cloud (60 ohm) and I was worried that DT250/80 might be a little much, but looks like I don't have to change anything at all to retain the volume. That was my concern, because UR242 is designed for 40 ohm in theory. With DT250, when I crank up everything to max, it's still a little too loud, so I guess that's fine (tested on Spotify/Youtube). They are comfy, but I'll see when I get to use them for a bit longer. They are also very light. And of course, big plus for replacable parts - headband, ear pads, cable. Cable is using a little screw, so it doesn't fall out. Small thing, but not an issue - coiled cable turns back into original position, so depending on your position, you might feel it pulling back a little, that's not a biggie though.
Sound wise - I don't really have good comparison, since those are my first headphones designed for proffessional use, but comparing to my previous ones they seem more natural, sound doesn't seem biased towards highs or lows. Listening to Spotify I started hearing their lossy quality, so I guess that's a good thing.

Best for Mixing
These headphones do have a very flat freq. response and are super good to do pre-mixing when you don't have speakers. I am always surprised when I listen back on my Dynaudio BM6 how much this headphone translate to it.

Quality sound
I'm using my DT-205/80's for mixing and casual music listening.
Pros:
Sound quality - detailed and accurate representation. The build quality is great too, I could throw these in my backpack for everyday carry and haven no issues.
Cons:
Comfort. This might be a personal issue as the ear cups are a tad too small for my ears. They cover my ears alright, but the edges of the ear cups are touching my ears, which makes long sessions uncomfortable.
All in all, a great pair of headphones for studio work, but large eared individuals might prefer bigger cups.

DT-250
The beyerdynamic DT-250s are real workhorses, i use mine mostly for cue/soloing at FOH, but also on an everyday basis. They have actually been forgot at a festival in the dirt and we found them about a week later, still going strong, no effect on sound or appearance, even though taking a lot of rain! I really recommend these headphones, their great for all kinds of work!

Sound great and very comfortable
These headphones have served me well for a number of years now. They have survived being packed in my flight cases and travelling around well. I much prefer the plush earpads to the leatherette ones on a DT100 although they do collect dust and hairs a little easier. I also prefer the sound quality to the DT100 - they've got a much more accurate and less coloured reproduction.
The coily lead is very useful at front of house in a live situation - it doesn't trip you over in the same way that a straight lead would. Also the screw on jack adapter is very useful, though I wish there was somewhere to retain the adapter when it's not in use.
The impedance is useful - these headphones are usable with both professional and domestic equipment.

Excellent headphones
I got these as I wanted something a bit more modern and compact than my BeyerDynamic DT100s. Excellent service from Thomann as usual. I've been using them for a few years and I'm really pleased with them. I'm a professional sound engineer and use them for both live PA work and recording. They are comfortable, sound great, and have good isolation. They are sensitive and give good volume on all the mixers and recorders I've tried them with. Being made in Germany by Beyerdynamic, all parts are available as spares - you won't get that with Japanese or Chinese headphones. So they can be kept working forever. But I've never had a problem with mine and they still look and sound like new - the earpads are a velour fabric so don't crack like plastic-covered ones. I'm very happy to recommend these to anyone who wants a quality set of headphones.
