My Guitar has never sounded sweeter
Ok, so I have to admit that adding pedals to my set up is new to me.
I play an Acoustic Takamine - while unplugged it sounds fabulous, but i felt like I was not getting enough from it live.
I have used the AD-2, followed by the boss GE-3 EQ pedal a few times now and the overall sound is so much warmer than it ever has been.
Again, not being a pedal expert, I found that putting the boss AD-2 before the EQ pedal worked very well, but for whatever reason, if I reversed this order I got an unwanted slight distorted sound.
Price wise, as is often the case with Thomann, I found that no shop locally could match the price.
The pedal, along with other items I ordered arrived in the usual timely fashion from Thomann.
Note that the Boss AD-2 does NOT come with a power supply (it is unfortunate that this is not included), although it can run on a 9volt battery.
So far so good, I'm happy with my purchase.
looking forward to playing with it a little more and getting the best sound possible from my set up.
Would certainly recommend.

Good clean boost and tone shaping
The Boss AD-2 provides a clear, natural sound with useful tone-shaping options. It’s easy to use and helps bring out the best in my acoustic guitar’s natural tone. Solid build and reliable performance.

Absolute must for piezo!
I have acoustic guitar & mandolin with piezos and always had a muffled sound when playing through amps. But this pedal brings back the resonance and acoustic sound. Really makes a difference!

Every acoustic player needs this pedal for gigging.
It makes all acoustic guitars sound natural through a mixing desk.
If you want a professional acoustic tone, you need this pre-amp.

great preamp for acoustic guitars. You should always use it with power supply cable, because a battery runs out very fast.

Essential equipment for an electro-acoustic guitar
A quality product in true Boss fashion. If you play live through a sound system, the notch filter greatly helps with the easy elimination of feedback.
