Simple but very useful
If you‘re looking for that classic rock sound go no further. We cover bands such as CCR and this pedal has what I‘ve been looking for. I‘ve tried numerous pedals, including the one on my amp, and they just don‘t come close. Clear sound and not at all muddy. I am running it through the FX loop of my amp.
Con: No stereo output. Not required but would be a more versatile option.

Siq-saw and a whole lot more
The TR-2 is a basic tremolo, that works great. I had another tremolo for a while, but being of the plastic made, didn't take the stomping too good. The metal chassis and sturdy construction, this pedal has endured a lot of use.
The sound is good, and the controls work as you would expect. And on the plus side of things, the battery compartment is handy, if you are using them.
Some times the led is hard to notice, if you aren't looking straight at your feet, but then again, the switch works nice, and you tend to hear what your sound is.
Good option in the tremolo market.

From Mellow Smooth to Rockin' Choppy!
When I first thought about adding a Tremolo pedal to my chain, I asked myself if I would really put it to use often enough to have it take space on my pedal board. I decided to give the Boss Tremolo a try due to its features. I was immediately hooked and pleased at how many different types of Tremolo effect you can achieve with this pedal.
Like the title states, from mellow smooth, in various speeds to rockin' choppy also in different speeds. Once you get the hang of setting the speed to rhythmically fit what you are playing, it sounds super nice and adds an interesting character to solos or chords, clean or overdriven. I even mix it together with other effects like an envelope filter or a chorus or delay and achieve some interesting results.
I honestly couldn't come with any cons for this pedal.
I think most of us recognize the quality, reliability and versatility of many Boss pedals.
The BossTremolo will definitely inspire and enhance your playing positively.
I definitely recommend it!

Classic
Build like a tank, simple and good sounding pedal. A tap tempo jack variant would be nice.

Reliable Boss
I have tried other Tremolo pedals, I tried the Moore but it fell apart after a year or so. These Boss pedals are built to last. I like the straight forward tremolo sound of this pedal,
It does what it says on the tin, it?s easy to use and just the right amount of buttons to tweak your sound, it?s reasonably priced also. It works well on my board with the EH epitome and j datura I delay pedal
Overall, I?m happy with it for now. I expect it to last more than a year, Boss are definitely reliable. I play in a worship band and my band mates dig the sound of this.

Boss TR-2
Solid construction of pedal as you expect from Boss stomp boxes
Fits nicely on pedal board.
There are more complicated tremolos out there but for me this does the job with lovely sounds
The dials are slightly hard to read in dim lighting situations but this is a small complaint

The best
Tremolo is not everyone's bag, but if it's yours - get this one. A lot can be accomplished by combining the 3 parameters in different ways, can't image that anything more would be needed for a tremolo. The Wave knob really works as a fantastic "bridge" between the rate and the depth - very logical and useful.

Really impressed with this Tremolo pedal
Can't say enough about this pedal, really nice tremolo. I bought it for playing rock/indie sort of guitar music, sounds great. Its a basic no frills kind of tremolo, sounds nice and warm, what more could you want.
