I am glad I bought this!
I bought this because the WL-20 and the WL-20-L were not available. I do not regret it! I use it at home and in the rehearsal room, to get rid of the guitar cable. I was fed up getting my feet caught every time in the cable - now with the WL-50 it feels so good. Instead of the little dongle on the amp side (WL-20), I have now the small WL-50 box (even if I do not use a pedal board) standing at the side of the amp, with a 1 m cable to connect the box to the amp. To recall: the "Input" connector is only used when you connect the guitar by cable and do not use the wireless.
Only good feedback for the moment: Sound is the same as with cable, you can select the "missing cable compensation" with an off-short-long switch (I do not hear the difference with my old ears). The box needs a power supply, but the amp needs power anyway.... The advantage is that I have to charge only the dongle for guitar side and do not need the USB power feed. I can move some meters out of sight and the connection still works at least for 10 meters. The indication lights are quite clear and give good information, e.g. the multi-colour LED on the dongle.
One of the products that make you happy.
Update 15 April 2019: One risk point is that if you leave the dongle in the charging position, but disconnect the charger (for example for transport) . The dongle is active all the time and the battery may be empty when you start playing.
Update Nov 2019: I have now a pedal board, where the WL-50 is placed at the entry of the pedal chain - this is just perfect. I charge the dongle now with an USB cable.

Insane for the Price
I absolutely love this system, it's so simple to use, great battery life, absolutely no delay for quite some distance and it's super convenient.
It's super cool that the receiver can also run off a 9v, had a few times where the pedal power was unplugged mid performance and it just seamlessly switched to battery power.
The only con I can think of is the fact that if you dock the transmitter in the receiver while it's not plugged in an outlet it wastes power in standby mode, when packing the pedalboard you have to remove it from it's dock and store it somewhere else. I hope there will be a new version where you can leave it docked all the time as that would make it absolutely perfect.

Good starter cordless unit for guitar
Boss needs no introduction. This little box was a gift for my son. He uses this thing all the time, in rehearsal, live or whenever. It is really amazing. It does cause some noise when plugged in to the digital mixer (Zoom LiveTrak L20) so that is a bit annoying, however no biggie. I would buy it again. Boss is quality and this unit is no different. Needless to say Thomann, as always, delivered the product with fab communication and speedy handling of everything. I always try to buy from them as I have every confidence that they are reasonable and will to resolve issues if needed. I did buy the L20 elsewhere though which I was pissed at but needed it more quickly than they could supply. :-0 The horror of using a French company...!!!

Easy as pie.
I resisted going wireless for a very long time. Trying to keep the purity of the tone, being old school and all that.
But frankly, these products have finally matured enough for me. They can't be simpler to use, the tone is completely transparent (at least to my ears) and have not noticed any drops so far.
Maybe it gets more complicated if there are several wireless in play at the same time, but by itself, it works great.
Simple to recharge, simple to pair to the receiver and the range is more than adequate.
I'm very happy with the product. It's now a permanent addition to my pedalboard.

Perfect solution for rehearsal and stage
I had other systems before. This system is really good, no more forgetting to charge your AA batteries. Fits perfectly on the guitar.

Bye bye cables
This works like a charm, I enjoy it a lot during rehearsal and gigs on stage.
No intereference with other guitarists using wireless device.

Very nice product
I was skeptical about wireless guitar systems, because it would influence the guitar tone. But the sound is very good with this system.
The system is very easy to use. Works out of the box. And very easy to use. Have played one gig with no problems.
Thinks to note is that it is better not fully plug the transmitter in the receiver, if it is not connected to power. It can drain battery.

Love it
I now have all the boss wireless units. This one (even though it not the most expensive) is the best. Especially when you (like me) own 3 transmitters and so have about 36 odd hours playing time between charging.
Out really charge before each show. Don’t be THAT guy
Pure class and uses about 60ma of power or so. Unless you’re using it to charge the transmitter, which you shouldn’t. Get one of them magnetic micro usb things and keep it in the transmitter. Then the port won’t get worn out and you can charge without needing your whole board powered up

Simply amazing!
Freedom to roam. No fuss setup. So simple. Once charged up it will give you plenty of playing time but don’t leave it plugged in fully, with the power off as it will drain the battery. Beware that the fun you can have wandering around doesn’t make you forget what you were playing.
