The Boston pickguard's holes line up with the holes on the original pickguard, but the shape is not quite right. The portion of the pickguard which touches the bass' neck is too tall, so when you install it, none of the holes line up with the holes in the body.

I am currently trying to sand down the section mentioned, but this is a tall order and is taking a mountain of effort to remove even a small amount of material.

My recommendation, just get a guard custom made instead. It'll cost more but at least it will fit and won't require reworking.

Si vous n'êtes pas adepte du à-peu-près, Il faut être un minimum bricoleur. Je l'ai acheté pour le mettre sur une SIRE V7 et les trous ne tombaient pas tout à fait dans les trous existants. J'ai été obligé de retoucher légèrement la lumière pour le passage des micros et le coté contre le manche pour pouvoir l'adapter parfaitement. Avec le bon outil (Une meuleuse type Dremel) cela m'a pris une dizaine de minutes.
Le résultat est tout à fait à la hauteur de mes attentes...

Pour une sire V7 4 2. Il faut réajuster en ponçant délicatement quelques creux arrondis de la plaque. Si vous superposez votre plaque d'origine avec celle ci, vous constatez que tous les trous de vis ne sont pas juste juste...
Mais avec un peu de délicatesse la plaque fini par s'ajuster.
