Highly recommend these to anyone.

These are great all round harps. I mostly use these now in my complete set and I've used them both in a live set and a recording studio for my first album. They're a little on the chunky side and require and extra bit of breath than other harps but you get used to that because of the sheer quality. I get a good 120 gigs out of these before they need servicing/tuning but the reeds don't seem to break from corrosion like standard harps. I use these both in a rack and in my hand for more bluesy styles and they sound great doing both. Over all really superb harmonica built to last and I highly recommend them to anyone!

Als langjähriger Anfänger kam ich vor zwanzig Jahren zunächst nur mit Hohner Harps in Kontakt. Ich wollte nun bewußt andere Marken probieren und bin einer aktuellen Empfehlung von Didi Neumann für diese Harps gefolgt.
Ansprache: nach etwas Einspielzeit gut - ist aber vom Können des Spielers abhängig - Stahl Stimmzungen halt ...
Klang: druckvoll und hell, aber nicht grell
Spielgefühl: sehr angenehm an den Lippen. Die Bauweise, Stimmplatten in Korpus eingelassen, mag ich gerne. Liegt auch angenehm in der Hand, da die Ecken abgerundet sind.
Folgende Punkte zeichnen die Seydel Blues Session für mich aus:
+ Der Kanzellenkorpus lässt sich gut reinigen
+ Der orange Farbton des Korpus lässt diese Harp sehr gut gegenüber anderen herauskennen - auf der Bühne praktisch, zumindest wenn man nur eine hiervon hat
+ Langlebigkeit der Stimmzungen (ähnlich Hohner Meisterklasse)
+ Deckel umfassen Stimmplatte vollständig (ähnlich Hohner Meisterklasse)
+ auf der rechten Kanzellenseite ist die Straight-Tonart aufgeklebt
+ Ersatzstimmplatten können nachgekauft werden
+ Herstellung in Deutschland
+ Das mitgelieferte Lederetui schützt gut vor Staub

Deze mondharmonica heb ik gebruikt bij popconcerten in grote zalen (17000 bezoekers). Ik had daar oortjes in. Ook thuis en in mijn studio.
De klank is fijn, het uiterlijk is blitz. Verder viel het instrument mij op alle fronten tegen.
Het speelt nogal zwaar, hard blazen en zuigen, wat toch niet heel veel volume oplevert. Het buigen van noten gaat moeilijk tot niet. Gaatje 10 geeft al helemaal geen geluid.
Na 5 optredens was mijn session steel in F al vals, terwijl ik meestal jaren met een mondharmonica doe. Helaas.
