What you payed for
I'm going to go ahead and state that in spite some people thinking this cable is not worth its value, I do disagree. With the pro snake mini jack, you get what you payed for. It's a basic cable I personally use on my laptop to play some recordings on my monitors, or really to connect my audio interface to my laptop so I can hear what I am playing without the use of headphones. What I am trying to get at is that this cable comes as one with a practical use. You can obviously state that the sound quality you get using it isn't as find as if you had a cable three times more expensive, but that is obvious too. As I mentioned in the beggining of my review, you DO get the ideal cable for the price you put into it. It is solid to carry around on a trip, but not for being used on tour. If your looking for this willing to use it on stage or on professional recording, that I would not recommend. But if you just need it to get going, to play some shows in some pubs here and there, my opinion is that it will be the most suitable.

I should have read the reviews...
I expected that this would be a simple 'straight through' wiring of the tip on the large jack to the tip on the small jack. But for some odd reason these are manufactured with tip ring sleeve on the minijack shorted together. Like another reviewer I'm going to have to open up and re-solder so that I can use them for my intended purpose (CV & Gate connections from sequencers to my synths).
