Great piece of software

The price from Thomann was better than on the Melodyne site and any other retailer I could find. And Thomann is without doubt the most efficient vendor for any musical stuff and their after sales service is stunning. The software is probably the best pitch and timing editor you can find. However, It's expensive (€600+ for full package). As far as I can see, the only thing you don't get with 'Editor' is that you can't edit several tracks at the same time. But it does do excellent polyphonic editing and it does it offline and you can pay a one-off price ,not an ongoing subscription. What I don't like about it is that it uses a whole bunch of weird hieroglyphs for tool selection and a lot of confusing non-standard key commands (eg 'alt' isn't always for copying, 'copy and paste' is not intuitive, zooming is weird. So there is a bit of a learning curve.

Great Product from Celemony

I have been using editor version in DAW and It's ARA function is very utilized, the sound quality still remains the same after rendering.
Pros: Easy handling, Fade in-out functions, the polyphonic edit, note leveling functions, key-chord analyzing.
Cons: it was slightly expensive.

Beeindruckende Software mit einzigartiger Stellung

War sehr überrascht darüber, welche Möglichkeiten mir Melodyne bietet und die einzigartigen Funktionen, vor allem die "Sauberkeit", mit der man die Veränderungen durchführen kann. Als Beispiel die Sibilanten. Da wird nicht einfach eine kompfette Frequenz brachial runtergezogen und somit einen Kolateralschaden erzeugt. Nein, man geht gezielt nur an die ensprechenden Stellen ran, ohne anderes Material zu beeinflußen ... das meine ich mit Sauberkeit. Auch die gesamte Kontrolle des Gesangs und auch der Einblick in den Stimmhöhenverlaufs innerhalb des Tons ... schon sehr beeindruckend. Auch als Spiegel dafür, wie die eigene Stimme sich verhält und in wie weit man "mikrovibrationen" hat usw.
Ich werde definitiv noch updaten auf Melodyne Studio wegen dem absolut einzigartigen Sound Editor. Das nenne ich mal Next-Generation-Equalizer .
Bin mehr als beeindruckt und für Producer, die wirklich qualitative und vor allem "saubere" Vocal-Bearbeitung mit einer unglaublichen Präzision wollen ... definitiv Melodyne ein muss.
