Die Clayton Ultem Plektren zeichnen sich unter anderem dadurch aus, das sie bei relativ geringen Stärken noch eine für mich angenehme Steifigkeit aufweisen. So ist das 1.07mm für mich das Bassplek überhaupt. Schöner perkussiver Anschlag und eine ganz leicht raue Oberfläche für guten Grip mit zudem echt ordentlicher Haltbarkeit. Top! Beim 0,45er, das ich für Gitarre nutzen wollte ist es ähnlich, nur die Haltbarkeit lässt hier zu wünschen übrig. Sound und Handling sind auch hier bestens, aber wenn man auch mal etwas fester in die Saiten langt reißt das 0,45er Clayton sehr schnell ein. Scheinbar ist es dann doch etwas zu Steif für die geringe dicke. Ich bin nun für Gitarre beim 0,56er gelandet... das reißt auch beim heftigsten Saitenattacken nicht ein. Soundmäßig gefiel mir das 0,45er aber besser.
