Good price and even better quality
Anonymous 03.05.2016
I was using cheaper patch cables in my home studio for quite some time but was never satisfied with them. They were too noisy, unstable and wore out easily.

Obviously I needed to switch to cables of higher value. On the other hand I did not want to spend a fortune on new ones, especially since I always need quite a lot of cables.

After comparing different products and prices, reading reviews as well as enquiring among some fellow musicians I decided to give these patch cables by Cordial with gold-plated Rean connectors a go ...

So I have been using a bunch of these cables in my studio for several months now and they have not disappointed me in any way so far. They are very stable and sturdy and the quality of my recordings has noticeably increased.

I use the cables in various combinations and for different purposes, as connection between electric guitars, amps, effect boards and pedals, synthesizers, interfaces and so on. Works just fine.

What I realized though is a disturbing noise in my vocal recordings that I only get when I leave the cable in my interface while recording over the XLR input. Actually I don't know if it happens because the cable is asymmetrical or too poorly shielded or because of the phantom power. Since I never record anything simultaneously when doing the vocals I just pull it before vocal recordings and the problem is solved.

The next time I need patch cables (and I can see it coming) I will buy these again.

Glad I switched!

No issues - used to connect a BOSS ME-80, to an Active DI. wishing to keep cable lengths as short as possible.

Difficult to tell what it contributes to the audio, as there are a number of other cables and devices in the audio chain.

So far so good, connects reliably and has a good snug fit, at both ends.

Not bad...

It is a great all purpose cable, I've been using it quite intensively for pedals and PA for almost a year now, plugging and unplugging all the time, and everything is as good as new.
If something breaks though, you won't be able to fix it very easily as it does not seem to be that easy to open. However, the soldered cables that I've used stopped working after some time and had to be resoldered, which I guess is not going to be the case with this one. I guess there is always a trade-off, it is either easy to fix or more robust. You can make the decision.
Soundwise there is nothing to complain about.
