P
Really HIGH action. Not pleased at all with the guitar
Papaqui 26.08.2020
Altough it's a nice looking guitar, the action is really high. 6th string on the 12th fret is between 5 and 6 mm.

I bought this with shipping to Mexico, and even I know there's a risk in buying guitars before trying them, the description on Cordoba's website says "GK Limited has the same comfortable playability and low action as the GK Studio..." and that's not even close to be low action. Fingers hurt and hand gets sore.

Such a dissapointment, I don't recommend this brand. Should have known better before. Even if it's not an expensive guitar, it's not cheap and it should have more quality, because it's too difficult to play with it and it doesn't have the flamenco buzz, no matter how hard I strum or do rasgueado, it just doesn't come.

I tried once an Alhambra 3F Flamenco Pure, that was low action.

Either I spend more money trying to find someone repairing this, or I'll sell it and loose money. If the description says it has low action, it should have LOW ACTION, at least.

Pros.
The ziricote wood makes this guitar look really good. It sounds powerful and has a natural loud volume (unplugged). With new strings and a capo on the 3rd it's kind of better to play.

Fantastic guitar
Minh V. 12.07.2015
This is a beautifully made and great sounding guitar. The Ziricote back and sides are a work of art up close and photos do not do it justice. The finishing on the guitar is of a very high standard. The frets were finished nicely and its a lovely instrument to play. A M A Z I N G.

The unplugged acoustic sound quality is very pleasing with rich deep base and nice treble. Thomann packed the guitar inside it's padded soft case, and then 3 additional boxes with padding in between each layer to ensure that the guitar arrived in one piece. Fantastic service.

L
Gorgeous instrument with sound in between classical and flamenco, capable going both ways
Luka212 17.03.2023
After I ordered this guitar I started reading reviews here and two were about very high action, so was quite nervous whether this was a right choice for me since was looking for a guitar with flamenco action, but not so harsh, but closer to classical sound.

Out of the box the action was about 3.3mm and since the neck is straight and has a truss rod, and the bridge still high - I think I will lower the action even further. So no issues here.

Otherwise the overall quality looks and feels very nice, no sharp edges on frets, the instrument right out of the box just feels right, looks beautiful and the sound is what I was looking for - smth between flamenco and classical

Spitzengitarre zum günstigen Preis - Flamenco, Klassik
Matito 14.08.2016
Klang:

Minus:
Könnte man doch sicher ändern!
