Excellent tick cable and connectors. Bright idea for the integrated mute switch. Very useful.
Wish on the cable or package there is info about the actual thickness of the wire.

the on/off button is a great feature, allows me to have a mute switch, switching instruments silently is pleasant.
the solderless wire repair is also a great plus

J’ai acheté ce cable parce qu’il est équipé d’un système coupe circuit (Circuit Breaker).
il est à comparer avec celui réalisés par Neutrik, puisque ce sont les seules deux marques à proposer ce type de circuit.
- Le Daddario nécessite de fermer manuellement l’interrupteur avant de retirer le jack, en faisant attention à ne pas mettre ses doigts sur l’interrupteur, sous peine de rétablir le courant.
Le Neutrik est plus simple puisqu’il suffit de l’enlever.
- J’ai eu quelques soucis avec le Neutrik: au bout d’un moment il a fallut le lubrifier avec du WD 40 pour que l’anneau coupe circuit coulisse de nouveau normalement.
J’en ai aussi eu un qui s’est enrayé, nécessitant son remplacement par un neuf.
Question cable, le Daddario est plutôt rigide.
Au niveau du son, en sachant que j’utilise des cables court: 3 m (10 ft), je n’ai pas trouvé de différences de son notable avec le Sommer Black Zilk que j’utilise avec le Neutrik.
Je choisis des cables souples et brillants qui ne ramassent pas la poussière.
De ce fait, le Daddario qui est plutôt mat ramasse un peu la poussière.
