I have one acoustic guitar with XS phosphor bronze strings, so I decided to put XS 80/20 bronze onto the other one. They seem to be slightly brighter on top and this is what I was looking for. 80/20 have become less popular since phosphor bronze introduction as the latter ones corrode slower. This is no longer an issue with the coated strings (hopefully).

Die XS Saiten sind für mich das "non plus ultra". Wenn man, so wie ich jeden Tag 2-3 Stunden spielt, dann lohnt es sich schon allein unter dem Aspekt, dass diese einfach locker 4-5 Monate halten und daher ein nerviger Saitenwechsel nicht so häufig vorkommt. Bei unbeschichteten Saiten kann man das monatlich machen. Hier ist für mich der Preisunterschied gegenüber den günstigen Saiten gerechfertigt. Des Weiteren besitzen die XS eine hervorragende Stimmstabilität. Sie sind mir noch nie gerissen, trotz häufiges Benden. Ich nehme die Saitensätze für alle Gitarren (E - und Western im 009-012 Bereich).
