This guitar is styled like a bit like a '6o's Mosrite with Danelectro lipstick pickups in an unusual humbucker arrangement.
As with many of these Korean built US style recreations the build quality is actually very good.
I was after a Baritone electric and the combination of a semi-body and the Wilkinson tremolo was an added bonus.
I really like the styling of this guitar. I think the blue is a great colour and it alters in different lighting conditions.
The guitar as delivered was moderately well set up with medium gauge strings (a wound third) and I'd say these are optimum for this baritone guitar. The guitar offers a lot of adjustment to get a spot on set up.
The pickup combination of dual lipstick and 'P90' with the coil tap for the bridge pair work well. The tone control and volume pots are okay but probably could be improved for range and tonality with different R/C values. But it does sound good and the improvements I've mentioned are easily achievable at very low cost.
In summary, I love this guitar, it inspires lots of ideas and it's great fun. One thing that surprised me is that it's great with a slide! It's the sort of instrument that might have limited production and so might one day be sought after as a rare item. I do think its very good value for the money and for what it's worth I'd recommend it if you're after and electric baritone. For me its a keeper.

T
mosrite combo super clone with danelectro hop ups

After sending back a PRS SE 277 (That Thomann doesn't let me rate once returned...) that showed a higher fret (!!!) and that doesn't have an easy way to mount a tremolo...
I ordered this beauty, and it's awesome, the wilkinson 2 point floating trem is very stable, though you need to adjust the spring tension when changing strings or uptuning , the freboard is ROSEWOOD , much darker than in the pictures, very beutiful and super smooth , frets are perfectly aligned.
The Alder german carved hollow body is beautiful (to my eyes) , and quite resonating also unplugged, while maintaining the guitar very light.
The neck joint is contoured and rather thin, giving easy access to high frets. The split coil on the tone knob lets you have a bit of twang though I prefer the combination of the p90(ish) + lipstick humbucker, for a very powerful and full of harmonics sound. Intonation was perfect out of the box, an example for PRS... much higher quality than the SE at the same price point.
Little advice: if you want to tune it up in C, it's quite convenient a capo , instead of tuning it up, having to adjust the tension of the springs etc etc... if you want to use lighter gauge strings, you have to adjust the truss rod...
Oh, and the tremolo bar can be screwed in and also locked, just don't forget to unscrew before the tiny bolt on the side, that keeps a plastic cilinder and the bar very tight .
