Flexsys FM 12 Review
Needed to add an additional monitor to my collection.
I usually run FBT 12M's however they are seriously expensive.
The FM12 is a weighty unit, but with a 12" speaker that's to be expected.
The unit delivers a good sound and has some inbuilt presets which are noticeable when used.
My unit did develop a fault after a couple of months where an electronic crackle could be heard without any source being plugged in. Thomann took this back and repaired the unit for me and no sign of the crackle since.
I do however have a second problem where the 1" dispersion cone over the 12" speaker has now come loose.
The unit is on it's back to Thomann for replacement which is good as I have a load of gig's coming up.
Over all it's not the best review however when the unit is in working order it performs very well.
Would I buy another one, possibly not however for the cost it performs fairly well.
