Versatile Fuzz pedal
The DOD Carcoza Fuzz is a fairly versatile fuzz pedal with both a pleasing sound and artwork. It was my first fuzz pedal and I still haven't quite understood what each knob does, and have instead dialed them until I get the tone that I want.
I switch it on whenever I'm looking for a fat and dirty sound, and that it achieves.
The fuzziness ranges from a soft, dynamic crackle to a screwed-up, almost 8-bit sounding fuzz. Whether you want a thin, medium or FAT sounding tone, you can achieve all three. The switch in the middle switches up the overall tone between a fat, thick sounding one to a more tinnier one. The only flaw that I find with this pedal, is that it 'pops' when you switch it on and the light on the front is BLINDINGLY bright.
But overall, it's a decent pedal.

Versatile Fuzz at a Fantastic price
I think this is an often overlooked pedal, it has a great range of sounds available with a decent amount of sculpting for if you're after specific sounds. The price point is fantastic for what's being offered here and they don't skimp on the components either.
Sounds great on bass too, I'd recommend it for anyone looking to dig a little deeper into their fuzz tone without jumping into the deep end and drowning.

Interesting but a bit fiddly pedal
What we have here is a good sounding fuzz at 99 bucks. Couldn't resist this deal, looking that other fuzzes I liked were somewhere in 200's.
It provides 4 controls + a switch:
- Before (seems to boost the input signal, and also is the major static booster if not careful with it)
- After (the general fuzziness control. On minimum settings it'll sound more akin to a distortion, on maximum - all out fuzzy and breaking up)
- Output (I guess this is supposed to be the level knob?)
- Hi Cut (allows you to set how much of the high frequencies are allowed at output).
- The switch (this seems to be full vs. mid-scoop mode).
One of the problems I've faced with this pedal is that 3 of the 4 knobs seem to affect volume, so it's a hassle to level it out properly.
In general tho, this can be a pretty good sounding pedal, if used properly in a proper context. Right now I've not found a good use for it in our doom/sludge band, but I hope to find that tone I want out of it in near future.
All in all, it's a cool pedal that is pretty cheap and well built, so if you have a spare hundy, try it out.
Should probably be great for stoner and other types of rock. For more metalesque types of music - maybe not so much.

Fun Pedal!
I used it with a short-scale bass that had floppy strings in conjunction with an octave pedal and was able to get some cool synth-like sounds. I had no other use for it, so when I was done pretending to be a synth player, I sold it.
