DiMarzio D Activator 7 Neck DP719

I bought this and the Bridge D Activator DP20 to replace my Ibanez RG7321 stock pickups, which i felt were very muddy and had a boomy low-end.
After installing these DiMarzio's they definitely allow notes of chords to ring out and can support low tunings very well. They produce a lot of clarity and energy I've been wanting! :)

These are the first pickups I've ever bought so I don't know how they compare to other companies, such as Seymour Duncan, Bare Knuckle etc. However I am very pleased with my purchase, definitely a good buy for 7 string guitars.

I got the DiMarzio humbucker to upgrade my PRE SE 7 string guitar. The DiMarzio gave me the precision I was looking for. My main guitar is a Majesty, so I lack the high-output that JP humbuckers have. I also think the tone is a bit too bright for my taste (still need to dig into my Helix to dial in the right tone, so this issue should be manageable). When you play djent type of riffs (fast, fat, loads of distortion), it somehow feels not "right" (again, certain elements could be equalized).
All in all, this was a good upgrade. I can recommend this product.
