timeless classic heavy sound
Overdriven this humb gives you exactly the same sound you've heard on 70-80's famous records. Suitable for rock, hard rock and heavy, even at high distortion levels you can read all riffs and fast notes quite well. But don't expect it to provide you with beautiful clean tone: without overdrive it sounds quite flat an scooped.

Super Distortion!
Its the sound of the 80s right? But it doesn't make miracles. I found my Larry Carlton S7 gen2 too Straty for my taste, so I decided to make it more like a Super Strat of the 80s and 90s, like a Charvel or a Jackson. Thus came the DP100F. I found out that it doesn't work this way. But the sound of the Dimarzio pickup was awesome!

Classic
People say this one should have been retired a long time ago and that there are "Distortion pickups" out there that sound more modern.
So what? There's a reason why Stratocasters and Les Pauls are still around...this applies to this pickup as well. "If it's not broken, why fix it?"
This one has it all.
