Perfect for beefing up a Strat

My 62 RI MIJ Strat is lovely: light, smooth trem and perfect neck. Shame the pickups were a little underpowered and made the whole guitar much quieter and weedier than my others. Enter Dimiarzio...

After a lot of research and listening to endless samples I chose the Tone Zone S. I wanted something hotter than a single coil but still with articulation and snap. The Tone Zone is perfect for what I need. It's smooth without being too overpowering and with a great clean sound and a heavy yet defined distorted tone. Balances well with the single coil pickups in the guitar and I can't seem to stop playing my lovely Strat.

Easy to install, I chose not to coil split it but instructions were clear from Dimarzio and it worked a treat first attempt. Fast shipping from Thomann and excellent service all round.

Great Pickup- Bad construction

This pickup is bassy and warm-yes, warm- sounding. Put it on a strat-maple neck- and loved it. Too bad the screws mount on plastic, wich proved to be unreliable. ts ts

It is extremely good and easy to install.
Both single coil and humbucker sound great.
