Very good PAF indeed
I've used this PAF type of humbucker for some time now, and I've become more and more confident with it. I have this pickup in the bridge of my Les Paul type of guitar. It's a very good vintage Les Paul sound in my opinion. The sound is middy but not honky, it's still clear and open. Crunchy sounds and power chords are just bold and rich in harmonics. Great if you like these type of tones!

THE PAF you'll want !
WoW !!
I just had this 36th anniversary PAF installed into my MusicMan AXIS SUPERSPORT .. what a difference .... this thing sounds incredible , really hits the spot for soloing live.
I may have to go as so far as to suggest its THE finest bridge PU iv'e ever had in one of my instruments. Thank You Thomann , and thank you Larry DiMarzio

Superb bang for the buck!
For the money, hands down the best PAF replica out there! Very open, dynamic and clear without being harsh. Sure, there are some better PAF-clones out there that beats this as far as warmth and "vintage accuracy" goes, but they end up costing many, many times as much. Also, these pickups has a very nice coiltap mode, and matches up excellently with a bridge tele pickup for example, which is something most other PAF pups do not.
