High quality build, plenty of power
Anonymous 13.07.2016
This is my second Doepfer A-100P6 suitcase, but my first with the new PSU3. As manufacturers are making more and more power-hungry modules it was time to get a PSU with a bit more grunt. This case delivers!

I have three Doepfer cases in total and I will only buy these cases: great solid build, portability and a proven clean power supply.

Only downside is that the power cable connection is on the back, and even with an angled cable, you cannot lie these down on their backs to play that way, even though they have feet on their backs.

Got this case on January 2017 and completed my rack two months ago.

Pros:
1. It is a really solid case
2. Built in power and board, easy to install and secure the modules.

Cons:
1. Case is too heavy
2. Got electrocuted a lot by the metal frame, so I hade to put cloth on the metal frame

Anyway, it's a good case for a start on building mobile Eurorack

Great sturdy, low cost case!
Blueswill 08.03.2015
Bought this as wanted a portable case that was sturdy enough to be able to take on the road and provide good, clean power to a number of modules. Can't really fault this option for the price as gives the usual Deeper build quality.

The 1200ma power supply is probably just right for a case of this size, a common complaint of the 9U version of this case seems to be that the power supply is the same size so you are more likely to run into power problems with that if using some digital modules. It would have been nice for the power outlet to be on the side so as to have the option of using it laid down flat (I understand that this was possible on the older versions) but not really a big deal.

All in all very happy with this case for the money and already thinking about buying a base to sit underneath and hold sequencing modules!

The Classic Eurorack Starter Case
Anonymous 01.05.2015
Robust, with a utilitarian style and a stable power supply. I've taken this case on trains and buses and cars and it doesn't even show a scratch. I definitely feel comfortable taking around with me with any fear of damaging modules. Once you're where you want to be, its dead simple to plug and wiggle (play). The power supply has been rock solid, although I use it with entirely analogue modules and a full digital case may push it to its limits. My only advice would be, if you're thinking of getting into eurorack, think BIG! You'll probably end up wanting more space quite quickly, so look into the bigger cases if your budget allows.
