Bought this for a project "monochrome" bass, yes I am being a tart..., anyway, I didn't expect them to sound as great as they do! So impressed with the tone on these bad boys, I'll be buying DR coated strings for all my basses now I think

Bright Tones & Dark Looks

I initially tried these because they were long enough to fit my bass (Dunable DE R2 with a 35" scale & string-through bridge). They not only fit perfectly, but the brightness and tonality of the strings work great for me and they have proven to be a bit of a head-turner at shows.
