Best choice for guitar with FR
I've just stop tu use DR Hi-Beam because it's so much brutal on my Les Paul. Kramer Nite V was my first experience with a FR, so I tried different brands and gauges.
Actually DR result was terrific - loud, full tone, long lasting tuning, satisfaction in playing guitar. No chance to make mistake withthis strings.
My eqipment:
Kramer Nite V
Marshall DSL40C
Ibanez Tube Screamer
BOSS ST-2
Cry Baby 535Q

Great for D Standard – Punchy tone, solid feel
I’ve been using these strings for D Standard tuning, and they’re absolutely spot on. The gauge feels perfectly balanced – tight enough for heavy rhythm playing, but still comfortable for bends and leads. They hold tuning really well, even with aggressive playing, and the tone is punchy and clear with a nice bite, especially on distorted riffs.
Build quality seems great, no dead strings out of the pack, and they feel smooth under the fingers. Definitely a good choice if you're after a reliable set for lower tunings without going super heavy.
