Plenty of missed opportunity from the manufacturer.

First of all, I'd like to say this pedal is really great.

*The Feel*
The secondary pedal (Slave as people call it) feels pretty close to the primary pedal, you can tell the slight difference and its because of the drive shaft, to which I would like give lots of credit as it very high quality and doesn't impede the beater from rocking back and forth, for around 12 seconds (results may vary depending on how you set it up).

*The Build*
~~Man, the quality on this pedal is ahead of my favorites like the Iron Cobra HP900(with mirror rod) ~~ I actually take this back, the aluminum frames are to soft. Easily dented.

and will pick this pedal (Nighthawk-DD) over the sub-standard Dyna-Sync (I will not spend €1k+ on a pedal)

~~every part of it is pretty solid (but not heavy) the materials are of very high quality+craftsmanship.~~ I want to correct myself here again; the quality and build is amazing but the materials are soft.

Drumcraft can take this version (Direct Drive) to the next level if they can somehow put some kind of isolation on the directive drive screw so that it doesn't have to much play or unwanted sound when you step off the pedals.

**Few weeks later**

The frame gets easily dented. It slightly rubbed on the hi-hat leg and now it's dented, The drive shaft also dented, why? I put it in the bag and it's freaking dented for being in a bag, also if you try to bend the joints you can see that the edges dig into the other.

The cam has 2 screw, top and bottom; the bottom just fell. :(

*The Missed Opportunities*

The Packaging:
- the box is great, but you could've wrapped the pedals in some kind of cheap cloth that would prevent any loose components from scratching into the product.
- the allen wrench scratched the fuck out of base plate, not that it's visible when it's mounted on the bass drum, but it bothers me each time i see.

Accessories:
- GIG BAG, just slap another €40 on the price and bundle it with a bag, It's hard to find a bag for this pedal as it's quite huge, there's not even one listed on this store that can fit it.
- Just get rid of the max version, and sell its add-ons as a "kit" to convert the pedal from a direct-drive to chain-drive and vice-versa. You can sell more of the pedals if that's your goal.
