Beim ersten Anspielen dieser schönen tiefen Trommel war ich sehr positiv überrascht. Der Klang war sehr warm und voll, die Möglichkeiten des Anschlages sind bei 14-Zöllern ja riesig und so reagierte das Instrument dann auch. Ich habe sie dann hoch, mittel und auch tief gestimmt und bin davon überzeugt, dass sich aus dieser Snare eine ganze Serie verschiedener schöner Klänge herausholen lässt. Der Federteppich ist von solider Qualität, die Verarbeitung qualitativ sehr hochwertig und solide ausgeführt. Die Materialien wirken sehr gut ausgesucht, die Lackierung ist schön und sehr gut ausgeführt. Auch mit dem Resonanzfell kann man sehr gut variieren, wie der Klang der Snare sich entwickeln soll. Die Hardware ist solide und erscheint sehr haltbar, ist gut zu bearbeiten und macht den Wechsel der Felle zur Sekundenangelegenheit.
