Headphone out produces a loud hiss
It does a lot of things well. I bought it as an ampless solution, mainly because it has extremely flexible connectivity options.
Unfortunately it isn't usable for my use case, as I play with headphones often. The headphone out produces a loud hiss (even with the volume way down). I followed the instructions to solve this in the manual (hook up one of the outputs to a grounded device like an amp; use higher impedance headphones). This did not make a difference.
It's a shame because I liked everything else about it. I don't expect gear to be flawless, however at this price point this is too big of a flaw.
