Works like it should.

I've used one for about 9 years and all of a sudden it failed on me. I do not know what the exact problem was, when I opened it one of the metallic ribbons was broken off but I guess after nine years of extensive use onstage and in rehearsal some things can die. I needed a replacement quickly because the next gig was around the corner, so let's hope this unit will exceed it's former counterpart's lifespan.
Other than that, I've used it solely as an expression pedal to control my axe fx's wah and it does that without any problems. I've had to tighten the tension screw twice in those nine years but that is not really an issue and thumbs up for having that feature. It's sweep is perfect but beware if you let the tension too loose, when there is an over-enthousiastic bassist, it can vibrate to the toe position and leave you wondering why your sound is a bit weird :P
It is made of a metal housing so that part is very road worthy and it stays on the floor due to its weight and rubber sole allover the bottom plate.

v
Decent volume pedal, sucks a bit of tone

Overall I am happy with this volume pedal, but would perhaps choose another one if I was buying one again.

The build quality is very decent, feels like a tank.
The metal tape inside the potentiometer on the first one I bought broke. I got a new one from Thomann (thanks a lot!), which has been reliable.

As can be expected from a passive volume pedal, it takes away a bit of higher frequencies (even with short cables around it), so I ended up not using it unless I also have a buffer in my signal chain.

The range is satisfactory.
