Dunlop Formula65 String Cleaner

Tip: Apply it on a clean cloth, and then to your strings, if you don't want the top of the bottle to get dirty from the rust.

I use it for D'addario Chrome on my telecster and Tokai guitar, and this stuff works great as a lubricant and cleaner at the same time. After applying it with a cloth the playing besomes so easy and effortless! Highly recommended for flat wounds!

I use this every 3 to 4 days, not everyday (but clean every play time with a simple coton fabric)
Keep my strings nice and clean

every few days. Kind of a great feeling to see how much crud comes off even if I play with freshly washed hands. So the cleaning part of the product seems to work well. I can’t objectively say how well the product protects the strings but subjectively I have the feeling that I can go longer without changing them. I also feel that the strings stay fresher for longer. Looks like the bottle is going to last a good long time. Based on this I think Formula65 is worth it. BTW I use uncoated strings.

Well, I believe the Dunlop String cleaner is way ahead. Cleans the strings, the head sponge has great durability and this product lasts quite some time even if you clean your strings every day.

Apart from its cleaning properties, it is an excellent finger lubricant. Before starting to play, apply a small amount on your finger edges and you'll find your playing a lot effortless and easy.
Can't live without it. It's always in my gig bag..

Bought to see if the product is genuine in it's claims or just snake oil. It seems to lift residue and gunk off the strings and they do feel nice too play on afterwards. After trying it out on a few of my guitars I can say it does make everything feel silkier and nicer to play on. Spray onto a clean cloth and just wipe up and down the strings the full length of the guitar.
