To pull it out, however, you need to get the hang of it - it depends on where you "plant" it. I attached it to an electric gear with a very thin neck, I had to look for a place so that it would not stand out - it worked :)

In general, I am satisfied! It is conveniently attached to the tool, the spring works well, it is very convenient to use.

Affordable and practical
It does what it should. Easy to install and holds up to 5 picks (ca. 1.0mm). Recommended!

Nice little gadget
I ordered this pick holder to put on my busking guitar. I used to just stick a pick on my guitar with a little blob of blu tack, but this usually came off with the pick and made it a bit harder to use. I often lose my picks and it's nice to be able to grab another one quickly, sometimes in the middle of a song! I was going to order the Thomann one as it is cheaper and I have found all of their products to be of great quality, but you couldn't choose the colour and I wanted something fairly discreet.
I tend to mainly use standard sized Dunlop nylon picks and they fit with room to spare. Even my fat triangle flatpicking picks fit perfectly in the holder. It holds six of my picks safely in one place.
There is not a lot of double sided tape on the back of the holder, so it may come off if knocked hard. It'd be no problem to replace but is something to think about.
I think it is a good product. When I order another I think I would like to try the little rubber Thomann one that hooks on to your strings at the headstock.

It get's the job done
The pick holder works as expected. However, there's small spring inside and if you do not have any picks left it will rattle around and resonate as you play the guitar.

Does exactly what it should, for a fair price
I have these stuck on the head-stocks of a few of my guitars. The ones where the action is too high to easily just stick a pick under the strings.
It can hold multiple thick, heavy gauge picks without any difficulty, and none of the pickholders have falled off yet.
If you use a clip on tuner then do be careful when attaching the pickholder that you don't position it so as to stop you putting on tuner. I did that with my first one :)

Can be a bit rattly
I have a few acoustic instruments, all of which have these same pickholders. I can't live without them. Many of my fellow musicians lose far too many plectrums after putting them down and forgetting where they are. Not me.
That does mean I am beginning to find out the shelf/usage life of a plectrum. Some of them I've had for years and they're starting to wear out and get grooves cut into them.
The only slight disadvantage of these holders is that if they're not completely wedged full, they can rattle when you hit low notes on the guitar, which is no problem live but when you're close miking in a studio it can easily be heard. It is just a bit of plastic and a spring after all, so you can't expect it to be highly engineered and silent, and it's a little gadget I wouldn't be without.

Some picks rattle in this holder while playing.
It holds the pick OK, but some picks rattle in this holder while playing. Not good to use while recording.

About this pickholder, i can say that, for the price that it costs, it is a very afordable item and good, i mean, for the relation price/quality, it can be a nice item to use on pedalboard or guitars for a quick grab on a pick. However, it as some defects. It is made on plastic, and that provides an easy damage. It also as an spring beneath, and it seams to be fragile as whell. But, as i said, it costs only moreless 2?, and if we damaged it that is no problem because we can buy another for a litle bit of money.

Nice pick holder...remember to put picks back in front
Nice pick holder made out of black durable plastic.
These are mount-once-stick-forever. There is a double sided sticker at the back that will mount the pickholder to almost any surface, except perhaps plaster texture walls. Because of the use of a sticker, they can only be mounted once or you need to use double sided tape.
It can hold up to 20 picks. The picks are pushed forward by a black surface inside with a metal spring behind it. Once the spring has worn out....or is damaged....this pickholder is no longer usable.
The thing that bother me the most was that i always put picks back rather hastily. Putting back a pick in the holder where ever it finds its over space instead of always putting it in front. It is easy to confuse the black surface, with the spring behind it, for another pick. Thus placing the pick on top of the spring, possible damaging the spring. Had that happen on a couple of them.
Otherwise are good pick holder. Fairly easy to get the picks out, if the spring is working that is.
