I have many DW snare drums, some new, some older and all of the older ones now have this DW Throw Off. It is an extremely simple but very effective device, works on a magnet and it is very easy to install. If installing on a DW snare everything fits, if installing on a different snare drum there are only 2 holes to drill - it comes with different screw sizes to fit different shell thickness. It is superb bit of kit.
