I bought a DW 5000 drum pedal in the late 90s. The hinge gave in more than 15 years ago. Back then I didn't know where to look for original spare parts, so I replaced it with a regular hardware store door hinge. It did its job but it also gave in. With the original part, the pedal looks the part (no pun intended). To sum up, the spare part fits a very old DW 5000 and does what it says in the tin.

Nachdem ich meine DW Doppel Fussmaschine aus der 7000er Serie mittlerweile seit über 8 Jahren permanent spiele und wirklich beanspruche, waren die Scharniere das 2. Teil, welche den Geist aufgaben. Kurz vorher war die Feder an dem rechten Pedal gebrochen.
Ausgeschlagen und gebrochen ERST! nach 8 Jahren! unter Dauerbelastung!
Das spricht für die Qualität der Scharniere, für die Qualität der DW Doppelfussmaschine und für die Qualität die DW in seine Produkte einfließen lässt.
Ich war von Anfang an mit der DW 7000 Doppelfussmaschine zufrieden und bin es auch heute noch. Die neuen Scharniere funktionieren reibungslos und somit werde ich meine Fuma sicherlich noch ein paar Jahre spielen können.

Pièce détachée pour double pédalle DW 7000, la qualité de fabrication est OK, mais pas incroyable, comme on pourrait le supposer pour une marque de ce prestige. La rotation ce fait relativement bien mais attention à bien le traiter si on ne veux pas déchirer les parties metalliques. Vendues sans vis de rechange donc bien concerver les anciennes.
Je pense que cette pièce peut convenir également aux anciennes gammes 3000 (qui sont plus ou moins les mêmes que les 7000)
