Surprisingly good library!

I purchased this library four years ago. If I had written a review back then, I would have rated it three stars, but as you can see I'm now rating it full score. Reason is that this is a massive library, and it takes time to fully understand how impressive and featured this thing reallty is. It isn't until now that I have fully realised the full potential.

It contains multiple guitars (lead and rythm), basses and drums and I am using the guitars and basses in almost every project. The quality and variation are that good. The drums are not bad by any means, every drumkit has it's strong sides, but they don't really match the detail and effort put into the string instruments.

They layout is great, it looks nice visually and the Play audio engine is really solid. In all honesty, the biggest downside to this library is the installation time. Waiting for the copying and changing the DVDs took forever. Fortunately, it's a one time operation. Once installed, you're good to go!

Top Sounds mit Hardware-Hunger

Auf der verpackung steht, dass 2 GB RAM für den Betrieb OK sind, in wirklichkeit sind es aber 4 GB, die man haben sollte, sowie eine leistungsfähige Soundkarte. Auch ist zum Betrieb dieser Software ein ilok-Stick notwendig.

Wenn man diese Hürden überwunden hat, bekommt man eine Library mit fasst ausnahmslos sehr guten Rock-Sounds. Die Madlish-Guitar (Ibanez) krazt ein bisschen sehr, die J-Gibson 60 Accoustic ist nicht mehr als eine Dreingabe.

Die Liedgitarren sind alle sehr hervorragend, die chords auch, wenn man sie richtig verwendet. Allerdings sind die ythmus-Gitarren nur bedingt zum Begleiten als viel mehr zum "Dampf verpassen" gedacht. Die Bässe klingen sehr gut, allerdings sehr rock-lastig und sind somit nicht für jede Art von Song einsetzbar. Die Drums sind die besten gesampelten Drums, die ich je gehört habe. Fast jedes Instrument hat zudem eine schöne Palette an hinzu- und wegschaltbaren Spieltechniken.

Es ist allerdings etwas Einarbeitung erforderlich damit es wirklich gut klingt.

Fazit: Tolle ergänzungsibrary für Rock-Songs.

Erwartet euch nicht so viel..

..wie von den Demo-Videos etc. Es war für mich ein Horor festzustellen das ich so viel Geld für sowas ausgegeben habe und das nicht mal zurückschicken konnte, da man nach der Installation das Rückgaberecht verliert da man es ja vielleicht kopieren kann - Ist generell bei Software so wie ich erfahren habe..

Habe diese Software nirgendswo testen können und Demo-Versionen gibt es natürlich auch nicht! Also dachte ich mir ich kaufe es da ja die Video-Demos richtig vielversprechend waren.. Dem war aber nicht so als ich die Software endlich mal nach Stundenlangen installieren bzw. "registrieren" zum laufen gebracht habe..

Mit dem Keyboard sind die Sachen wie in den Demos kaum spielbar.. Das Midi-Programmieren ist ein absoluter Horror - 8tel Rhytmen klingen so richtig gekünstelt - Notenlängen genauso.. Der Support war somit auch nicht recht hilfreich! Genauso nervig sind auch diese USB-Sticks die man anstecken muss um die Software in Gang zu setzen!

Achja - Vergesst die Mindestanforderungen die auf der Verpackung oben stehen! Nach einem Monat hab ich die Software günstig verkaufen können..

Excelente herramienta para conseguir eses potentes sonidos de guitarra. Sonidos de batería espectaculares y mucha operabilidad a la hora de trabajar en el secuenciador. Gran adquisición para todo el mundo al que le interese obtener sonidos eléctricos de primera.
