I've bought the brace for my 16 year old bass trombone student who is small and had some problems holding the trombone. The brace also helped him play faster, because he had some troubles using the trombone valves.
Its easy to mount and its also very stable.

The only thing I disliked about it, is the price. It's a bit expensive.

I got the thumb support for my bass trombone. It is very easy to install and stays there quite tight. There's only minimal lacquer damage on the brace. Feels like a part of the instrument now!
