Special effects !
Nice and warm sounding pedal. But not easy to use at all.
I see 4 sorts of effects :
1. Very usefull and easy to dial in : Tremolo, vibrato. For daily use.
2. Interesting for the envelope mode : Tremolo, vibrato, rotary
3. Not easy to dial in or not outstanding sound. Emergency modes if you don't have the real pedal on the board : Chorus, flanger, phaser, univibe, rotary. But better sounding then other cheap multimods like Flamma.
4. Not easy to dial in but such good experimental sounds that it doesn't matter : Filter and Pitch
About the difficulty :
The secondary knobs are quite difficult . There are different schemes of LFO's for almost every mode, impossible to learn by heart.
What happens a lot is : you lost your sound and don't know why. Number one reason ; You probably slighty touched one knob in secondary mode when turning another...
Using classic modes (Chorus, Flanger and Phaser) requires some study too. The range is narrow for the classic modes. These classic sounds are better with a compressor in front of the mod11. They are in the neighbourhood of the original exh pedals (Mistress, small clone, ... ) but never get there completely.
I like the filter matrix mode in some modes. Bonus point !
Details for some modes :
TREMOLO has a nice and unique psychedelic chopper sound and also a very rotary like with the slowed down envelope. Not as midscooped as a Tr2, more bass choppy.
VIBRATO is one of the best shoegaze vibratos : bends heavy but fluidly, taking dirt well and has envelopes that mimic My Bloody Valentine playing style. With a very wide speed range .
ROTARY itself is okay, especially the slowed down envelope is very usefull.
But the stars of this pedal are definitely FILTER and PITCH !!!
Their complex depth-parameter is not explained in the manual. It gives many different outcomes, depending on the position.
PITCH gives really crazy sounds, but it you want, can only do the normal (non LFO)-Pitch too . It can make stepper sounds, AC DC scale sequences, lasergun sounds, ...
The FILTER mode : It can do really nice enveloppe wha's like a normal envelope filter pedal at slow rate. It can give a nice static filter too, like not many normal envelope filter pedals can. IN LFO mode It can give underwatersounds and other really synth and almost hip-hop like producers sounds.
It is the same as the 'EHX Blurst' pedal but also in bandpass en hipass mode and without expression input.
In PITCH ans FILTER modes you want to use every shape, for every depth stand. It is really fun and takes all of your time.

11 Modulations by EHX
If you feel you need a pedal with a bunch of different effects, this one really is one of the best options around. I'll be able to perform a huge variety of sounds in concerts because of this little compact thing.
The only thing which "bugges me" its the mode option button, which I think should be placed bellow the knobs, to become of easier use.

Good quality for the price
Some of the efects are nice, like chorus and tremolo some others are just ok. A little bit difficult to use it on a live situation. If it had banks...
