Old tech.
I recently got a "Boss acoustic singer live" acoustic combo, I enjoy the 'on board' harmonies so much on the Boss that I ordered this "Electro harmonix voice box" to use with my older sound gear,, but I'm afraid the voice box sounds "very old tech", not a patch on the Boss.
The voice box controlls don't seem to change the sound at all, the sound from the voice box is a very mushy reverb, even with the reverb off, the harmony Lagg time too is too much.
For another €100 I will return the 'voice box' and order a Boss cube Street 2, a complete PA which has the same harmony system as its bigger brother/sister "acoustic singer live", a harmony that's better than the real thing (for me).
A big thanks to thomann for their service to all us musicians.

Good but i prefer Digitech and tc helicon.
I hve used Digitech basic harmonisers for 5 years and for the last 3 years the TC Helicon GTX harmoniser and fx pedal. This is a nice little box and simple, bought for my keyboard player, but unlike my pedal he now leaves it in the store room for months at a time! The whistle effect is nice, amd good for hand operation, as a foot pedal I prefer the others. Depends what you use it for.
