Good sound but didnt last much
I bought them after having tried the nanoweb for my electric guitar and was very happy with them. They have last me almost a year with very little wear.
That was not the case with the Polyweb... After only a couple of months they deteriorated, the protetive thing around the strings was torn apart where i pick - i am not a hard strummer and play less than 1 hour a day, the color has darkened but to be honest the sound is still acceptable.
I believe i have gotten a bad set but would not try them again, my friend who is a teacher and plays many hours has the same gauge Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze and after 6 months they are literally like new, unlike mine... disappointed

Unpleasantly surprised.
I always use elixir strings on my electric guitar and bass guitar. This time I bought elixir for an acoustic guitar, and unfortunately after a week they got darker and the protective coating started to come off in pieces.
