Good for certain applications
I fitted these to a Squire 70s P-Bass as the stock pick-ups were not great.
Though these are a definite improvement, imo they are an acquired taste. Higher output than I am used to from a P-Bass and, despite Geezers description of their tone, I would say they push the sound to something more modern whereas I prefer a vintage sounding P-Bass.
Still, the quality is great and the solderless system is excellent.
Very good but not outstanding.

Great in every respect, but didn't like the sound
A very nice pickup, and that it comes with pots, jack and all wiring in a solder-less setup is also a plus. I used it for a while, and while it performs excellent, I just lacked some upper-mid harmonics giving a more closed-off and nasal sound. This is personal, nothing wrong with it, but as the sound is the most important aspect of a pickup, and I didn't really like it, I give it 4/5.
