An incredibly unique and beautiful guitar!

I really love the vintage Epiphone headstock, and the pickguard gives the guitar such a distinctive, badass character.

It comes equipped with a great-sounding LR Baggs pickup, a high-quality hardshell case, and even a humidifier/feedback cover — things that don’t even come with some of my Custom Shop guitars!

I normally play Gibson and Martin guitars, but I bought this one simply because I thought it looked incredibly cool, and also as a tip of the hat to Marcus King, who is, of course, an exceptional artist.

The guitar came straight out of the case very well set up and completely gig-ready.

Seriously impressive value for the money. I’m pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this guitar!

Gitarre mit toller Story und kleinen Schwächen in der Verarbeitung

Als Markus King Fan war die Gitarre natürlich ein Muss mit der tollen Geschichte. Zumal endlich mal ein Signatur Modell mit "bezahlbaren" Preis. Die Gitarre klingt toll und charakteristisch (wie bei Markus) dank Vollholz und Knochensattel und macht optisch was her. Saitenlage war auch hervorragend eingestellt. Zudem noch die guten Electronics für super Thomann Preis. Leider ist die Fertigung und Verarbeitung nicht ganz auf dem erhofften Niveau. Aus dem Schallloch rieselt noch Sägespan. Die Elektronik wurde mit zu viel Kleber verklebt. Der Überschuss ist vom Schallloch aus zu sehen und ist auch nicht ordentlich gehobelt soweit ich das sehen kann. Das macht Martin in Mexico zB deutlich besser in diesem Preissegment finde ich. Hatte aufgrund der viel gelobten Epiphone inspired by Gibson Custom Modelle aus vermutlich gleichem Werk schon deutlich mehr erwartet und zeigt auch das die Gibson US Modelle doch nochmal in einer ganz anderen Liga spielen. Kann man sicher beheben bzw. vom Profi beheben lassen. Aufgrund der Einmaligkeit gebe ich sie trotzdem nicht wieder her, die Marketing Abteilung bei Epiphone hat also alles richtig gemacht ;-)
