Very high quality picks!
Funeral Musician 22.11.2025
These are not the cheapest picks you can find, but the quality does match the price, and probably even exceeds it: they feel great to the touch, have immaculately rounded edges, and, with a shiny silver Fender logo and a swirling tortoise-shell-like pattern, look the business, too! While the aforementioned Fender logo is ever so slightly debossed (or so it seems), the vast majority of grip is actually provided by the smooth yet somewhat grippy nature of acrylic, of which these picks are manufactured. I am not the biggest fan of the “chirping” sound they produce as they glide off the string, but the tone is relatively “warm”. If you have ever tried V-Picks, which are translucent boutique picks hand-crafted in Nashville, USA, this is that very same material. Well, the exact polymer composition may differ, but the general name for that compound is still acrylic. Would I buy these picks again? No, probably not. I prefer my red nylon Jazz IIIs. But I do not regret I bought them. For one, it is always exciting to try something new and have a diverse selection of picks to match miscellaneous genres and playing styles. Also, they look so enchanting due to their mesmerizing three-dimensional patterns that I pontificated drilling a hole through the prettiest one (since they are all unique) and wearing it as a necklace!

Maybe the best 1.5mm pick
Greenster 28.11.2025
I tried quite a few 1.5mm picks. These seem to be the best. At least much better than the white Dunlop pics of similar shape. The problem with Dunlops was that the black paint on them does not hold properly and makes the fingers dirty.
