Pay for that name
Let's face it, there's quite a few cheaper alternatives out there that offer no less (from what I've seen). You're paying for the fender name. I'm a sucker for that kind of thing so I paid up and I'm very happy with the product. I don't think you'll be missing out on anything if you opted for something cheaper such as the HB though, maybe some of the quality and premium feel of the tools.

Basically when you take the tools in your hands, they are very well built.
I carry this this thing whenever I'm with my band, I like how compact it is. The wire cutters are sharp and cut through thick strings easily, everything else serves its purpose well. The smallest allen keys are somewhat useless as I couldn't use them for tune-o-matic bridge and for saddles on gibraltar bridge on my Ibanez. I am yet to find usage for these. I couldn't use bigger allen keys for truss rod on my Ltd (wrong diameter). I'm not sure this product is made with Only Fender guitars in mind. It might be a good thing to use this as a base and then add more specialized tools to make the set more complete.

Most of the tools you will ever need
Everything is high quality and well made. Although overpriced, it is an easy solution to get a bag of tools that will help you set up your guitar.

Very good tool kit
This toolkit is great! It have all tools you need to maintain your guitar when changing strings. It would be nice to have allen key for adjusting truss rod.

Everything you need except...
Quality tools and bag! So far I have used everything included in.
The only thing I would add is a Radius Gauge

Altogether not bad
From time to time I needed some tool or other to maintain the guitars and seemed to me as good idea to have one set for all purposes neatly packed in a pouch. As far I understand now not all tools in this set are usable on every guitar and maybe I'll need to buy some add-ons for various guitars (pouch has enough space), yet other indispensable things for setting up guitars are there, feeler gauge and ruler with measures in inches are not so easy to buy here. Altogether not bad. Time will show.

Wenn Fender Custon Shop drauf steht ist das auch immer ein Garant für ein bisschen Extrapreis ;-) Die Werkzeugqualität ist ok. Außer dem Kapo, der ist echt Schrott.

pretty useful all-in-one toolkit but..
there are useful tools for the fender guitar setup, basically you can use it for almost whole setup including the strings change, neck relief, intonation and bridge height, BUT there ais not appropriate hex size for saddles height. I don’t know that particular hex size is needed but it won’t fit my MIM 2011 strat saddles. Otherwise it would be perfect.

Great kit
You have almost all you need her.
I use a lot of different instruments so having all these tools available is a must.
But I do miss the a good Bridge Pin Remover. There is something in the set that looks like a bridge pin remover, but the quality of this thing is quit poor. Cant find anything on Thomann thats good for this purpose.

Reliable and quality
Yup....so far just used this to tune up my telecaster....nothing major just a few minor tweaks here and there on the strap lock or the pickups....the scale ruler is pretty useful... Great tools for maintenance and consists of everything you might need for a guitar fix-up
