Great Combo
This combo is a great unit, it is fairly compact and not too heavy and can be carried for quite a distance before the weight kicks in.
Sound wise it is a really powerful amp with a 4 band EQ and great sounding speakers which give a good bass thump, but this combo also produces a very good mid range and clear top end with the tweeter set on high.
The 3 preset buttons are handy, I use the vintage preset all the time as with my Fender Jazz bass it gives me exactly the sound I am looking for with the EQ more or less flat only needing a bit of tweeking from room to room to fine tune.
Great combo that gives me everything I need from a bass combo with plenty of power, great sound and portability.
It does feature an overdrive section but it does has never appealed to me so I have never even turned it on so I cannot comment on how well that works.

Boy, does this pack a punch
I knew I wanted to try a Fender Rumble, but was debating what wattage to get. In the end I said, heck, why not go all the way. And boy, this amp has POWER. I have to play at 5-10% MAX during band practice, otherwise it starts ripping everyone's eardrums apart. Plus or minus? You decide.
Apart from that, the amp is extremely light, which is an enormous plus. You can sit on it, stand on it and it still feels very durable. The 4 band equalizer and overdrive give vast opporunities for you bass playing to tinker with the sound, as well as the sound colouring (vintage, contour, bright) do make a difference.
Just wanna play at home and not tear down your walls with these 500W of pure BASS POWER? Just neatly plug in your headphones and no one will ever know you jammed the whole night through.
So apart from the effort you have to put in taming this beast during band sessions, I have no negatives. Certainly recommended.

Best bass combo in the market right now!
This amp does everything it's designed to do - it's a lightweight, easy to carry combo that can offer a clean signal and also has an overdrive function for heavier styles.
Very easy to use with the classic 4-band EQ (Bass, Low Mids, High Mids and Treble) and also with some cheesy options if you're looking for something else. The Bright button gives you more high end treble that can sparkle your sound. The Vintage button adds more bass and gives you a thumpy, fat sound. And Contour gives you a smiley-face EQ cutting your mids and boosting the bass and treble, ideal for slapping.
The Overdrive is decent but a bit limited. It's good if you want to add a bit of grit to your sound but there's better pedal options obviously.
This amp won't colour your sound too much, it's mostly clean and it really shines if you add some pedals with it. It's perfect for small and medium gigs and if you're looking for something easy to carry around without spending too much money.
Tone-wise it's limited but paired with a few pedals it can get you anywhere. All in all a very good choice and the best combo in the market right now.

Fantastic option for medium budget basses
I play Bass for a small local death metal band and was previously using my guitar amp, when I went looking for bass amps this one immediately caught my attention, affordable price point, looked large and powerful and came with a lot of easily understandable features.
Boy, I was impressed before I used it, after using it I just felt even happier. This thing is monstrous, easily able to pump out plenty of sound from a practice space and a stage, and has a lot of nice features, with only a few that don't seem to be particularly important or helpful for me.
It's also surprisingly not all that heavy, making it relatively easy to transport and move around on stage for gigs, so it's pretty much perfect for me, this is the exact definition of "does exactly what it's supposed to do".
Rather than shelling out a few grand for a proper professional setup, I made the exact right choice with this, and if you are in a similar position as I am regarding money, this is literally a purchase that pays for itself basically. Zero regrets, pretty much perfect, many happy times with it.

Quality Powerhouse
Got this to practice in a band, wasn't sure I was aiming to high in terms of power, 500w is a lot but for a bass player it's never a bad idea to have a bit more, even for practicing, if you're thinking in buying an amp I'd recommend this anytime even if you have to go a bit above your budget. It's light for it's size and power, looks awesome as well and the sound is punchy and strong as hell :)
Would love that it came with a footswitch but for the price I believe this is the best amp in this gamma of power and quality. Very happy!

Game changer
Has the power to knock down a wall, and is light enough to preserve the cool look in front of crowd when unpacking the gear (instead of usual strugle, funny walk and face redness).
Bargain for its price.

Lightweight, solid and responsive
In terms of size and tone this is the best bass amp. I've owned. I was a fan of 15" speakers prior to this but I now prefer 2 x 10 " . With speaker out, line out and switchable horn this amp. does it for me.

Excellent bass amp
It has everything you need. It sound awesome. Even the distortion channel is usable in situations. With extention cab which I'm buying it in the future this bass amp offers 500W of power. Even 350W without external cab it's loud enough. On max volume retains really good bass sound. Worth buying.

Great amp with good sound sculpture however...
I use this in a loud blues/rock band and it can make any bass sound great. The eq is excellent and the optional bright/vintage etc buttons are a big plus. It makes my cheap passive squire jazz's naff bridge pick up brighter and more powerful but it also makes my over bright active schecter warm and ballsy!
It looks proper sweet and holds it's own at any gig...and I play in a 5 piece with loads of noisy guitars/keyboards etc and it cuts through easy!
The best feature by far is how I can lift it with one hand! I can't explain how amazing that is....BUT I have just had to return my one after it went dead after one year. Thank god for thomann's 3 yr warranty! Sometimes weighty means solid so in this case I'd recommend a good cover/case and extra care if moving it about pub to pub in the back of vans! Cheaper components maybe but if you look after her you'll fall in love! Mine didn't contain a uk plug but leads are pretty cheap! Well worth every penny!

Great tones very loud and very light
I was fed up with the weight and size of my bass amp which was a Vox V125 and 15" cab. I wanted a retro looking amp without the hassle that valve amps bring. I read a few reviews of the fender rumble 500 and decided to take the risk. I am so pleased that I did as this amp is much louder than my valve set up and is easily loud enough for any size venue. It's so light and transportable too. Also it looks fantastic with a real quality fender retro vibe. Lastly the sound is fantastic. Achieving authentic retro sounds or modern day bass tones is no problem at all. It even has a great sounding overdrive function. Couldn't be happier with the sound look and quality of this amp.
