Standard Bass Saddle
I needed a new saddle for my Squier Vintage Modified 70s Jazz Bass. Someone put the top 4 strings of a 5 string set on and the saddle produced a lot of buzzing after I stringed it up with a 045 set of strings. The saddle was really easy to install. I just needed to take a hammer and put a screwdriver to the side of the old saddle. Just to make sure the old one would come out easily, I took a scalpel and scored along the edges. After cleaning the saddle slot, the new one fit in perfectly. I just used one drop of super glue just to make sure, it holds securely.
+ perfect fit
+ slotted just right for my 045 strings
+ good sound
+ easy to replace

Nice replacement nut
this nut fitted my new neck almost perfectly. It's good quality and has the correct widht for my allparts neck. Took me 15 minutes of sanding and filing to get it perfect, but you'd have to do that with almost all nuts. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a replacement nut. Ow and it comes in a 2 pack so if you'd mess one up, you can have another go at it.

Just what you expect
I bought a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass and had to change the saddle, because the bass was used and the saddle was modified by someone, who had no clue, what he was doing. When the package arrived, I was surprised, because I didn't expect to get two saddles. There are really the saddles like on the picture, so you can train on the first one and master it on the second one. The saddle is made out of solid material. The original Squier was plastics. On my Jazz Bass the saddle is a bit wider to the side, than the neck, but hey, you have to customize it anyway. If you need a saddle for a Jazz or Precision Bass: Buy this ones!

I tried a 3rd party brand first
I tried another Jazz bass nut for a neck I purchased that didn't seem to have the right dimensions. This slipped in nicely gave me good spacing from the edge of my fretboard. Check sizes and string spacings make sure they match up to your neck and what you want.

Fender Nut
Changed the nut on Fender Jazz bass and it works like a charm, an even better feeling than the old one.
