Really awesome bass in this price range
First of all, I am guitarist and I have some very decent guitars in my collection so it may not be the most fair review. So starting with the bad: one of the volume controls on my first bass failed after a week. Thomann dealt with this amazingly well and I got a new bass fairly quickly. The other poor feature is that the bass requires a complete setup (the neck was completely off and needed truss rod adjustments as well as the intonation); something that could be frustrating if you are a beginner. Having done all the set up, I think the bass sounds really good and is really playable, so overall a really, really good instrument for the money. I highly recommend this.

Value for money
For this price point this is a well made value for money guitar.
Pros : Looks great, sounds good, build quality of the wood, surprisingly nice fret board.
Cons: there has to be some for 250 odd euros.
Tuners lack a little precision. The bridge is cheap as chips.
This guitar needs to be completely set up. Out of the box set up is awful. But with a little time & patience and a good set up this will sing & play as good as any 400+ euro bass. Its not top shelf but will set up well. Highly recommended .

The Squier Affinity PJ Bass LPB is a great value‑for‑money instrument. Solid build, good tones from the PJ pickup combo, and really fun to play — especially considering the price. A good choice if you want a dependable, versatile bass without spending a lot.

Good Bass
Nice features with both pickups PJ, the sound is good as well, the only caveat were the frets, those were protruding and had to do some work on the fret ends, I've experienced this issue not only in squier but in fender Mexico as well, sad to say but in the last decade Fender quality has decreased significantly on this specific topic.
