Good mustang for the money

The craftsmanship was not top notch as opposed to my other classic vibe series guitar - the 50’s Telecaster which is brilliant. For the 60s mustang, despite being made in the same factory in Indonesia, the lacquer was poor on the neck and also on the top of the guitar body the finish was dull. I guess, it’s a lottery when you buy online...

It was a rollercoaster getting this guitar. When it was delivered, the box was mistaken for trash and taken to the local recycling center. When I realized this, I rushed over and managed to retrieve it from the dumpster.

The guitar itself is well made, except for some glue stains near one of the frets (easily removable). There was a small scratch in the paint on the headstock, possibly caused by its brief time in the dumpster.

After setting up the guitar, shimming the neck and switching the strings to 10s, it plays very well.
