My backup
I have several artists that use hardwired IEMs and not carry or spec any backup. The mini body back is amazing as it easily fits into my daypack and provides a solid and reliable backup.
A mono mix is a compromise but as a backup it's amazing.

Use in broadcast as talent earpiece amp
These are great. No batteries, driven by the line out from your console. Work fantastic with 15 Ohm or 150 Ohm Audio Telex earpiece transducers. Ive been using two of them for live to air talent and not one has complained about lack of level or difficult to hang on their belt.

Exactly what it seems to be
The Fisher Bodypack ist exactly that, what it seems to be: A road-fit, passive Headphone volume setting system.
I’ve used it now several times on stage, and regular in the rehearsal room. The quality is VERY solid. I don’t see, how this thing can be damaged in any way. The belt-clip the jacks are very strong.
The Bodypack is passive, so it can not enhance the volume more, than the preamp in front is already giving (so the volume-knob can only decrease volume).
I use it for in-ear monitoring, when I don’t want to use a wireless system, and up to now, it has been a great part of my gear (Even saved my a** once, when the wireless went down).

Very Handy
I use these for my In ear monitors. Its handy having the volume pot on your belt! It also functions as a line attenuator for when I connect directly to the POD HD500x headphones out which in general is a pretty hot signal. I haven't noticed any drop out in clarity when using these with Shure Se425's

Simple and good
It's very simple device with one and only job - volume control. It's desing and quality is good, but have one mistale. Volume control button is made from rubber and can be mistalenly changed when you sit or wear jacket.

Excelent Value For Money

Functional and Useful
These little packs are are an inexpensive solution for wired monitoring. We connect them straight into the Aux Sends of the stage box and with a decent length XLR they provide a comfortable and usable wired monitoring solution. The fact that they are passive means no battery but it means that some of our musicians find them a little quiet when stage noise is high. For this reason, we don't find them suitable for use by a drummer, but most other instrumentalists find them to be loud enough.
