So this is a very popular drive, and for valid reasons. Its build quality is great, the features it offers are very good, especially the “tight” knob and the trim pot inside that controls the gain range. But eventually I sent it back. I didn’t like how noisy it was, the super stiff and clicky foot switch, the side in/out jacks, the insane amount of gain (for my taste), and the brightness/fizziness. I play P-90s in general, and I use mainly a Fender Deluxe Reverb, so there’s a great chance it just didn’t agree with my setup. Or maybe I was just looking for a different sound, less like a Plexi and more like a high-gain BluesBreaker. Anyway, I found it disappointing for personal reasons, I can see why other people (probably with different setups) might love this.

Great tones, decent quality

First the good stuff, this pedal gives great tones, it has a ton of gain but that can be dialled with the internal pot.
It boost the signal quite a bit, so there is a noticeable volume increase if the volume is left at 12 o'clock.

Not bad per say but a bit underwhelming for the price point of this pedal is the packaging/quality, both are a few notches below what Wampler and other manufacturers do, from the painting, the housing and even the pouch.
The switch is also very loud.
The sound is great so I wouldn't be put off the negatives.

It is not my main overdrive pedal, but it has quite good sounds in it.
Pros - Versatile. The Tight knob and the possibility to adjust the amount of gain inside of the pedal gives the possibility for different styles and amps.
Cons - Pricey
