This thing is solid, it will protect whatever you put in it.
At first I thought I wouldn’t even need to remove my amp head to plug it in, and technically I was correct but it’s very enclosed and caused the amp to heat up more than usual. So keep that in mind

This rack case is definitely worth the money
The material is strong, durable and has a plywood case inside it to keep your gear safe, but still is not to heavy or bulky.
it has a zipped opening on the top/front and bottom/back with heavy duty zippers. they seem like they would last a long time.
The handle is very strong(have a metal tube through it) and is pretty comfortable. It also has a shoulder strap with a nice bit of padding, good if you need to carry your gear about
There is a pocked on the front, handy for keeping your power leads, cables and USB leeds.
If the plywood case could slide out of the main case it would be excellent.

Fine, but a bit heavy
This case is fine, but I have a Behringer XR-12 Air mixer inside, and it is very top heavy, so not very stable.
The case is a bit heavy, but it is fine for carrying around. I keep microphones and cables in the back of this, so it can become a bit much to carry around all day!

Solid quality, minor handling and accuracy issues
I bought this rack bag to be able to transport my 19" equipment. Since I have to get around by bike, the rack bag enables me to carry for example my preamp on my back to a gig. Comfortable would be the wrong word to describe riding a bike with this bag on my back, but it is possible for short distances.
The rack is build very solidly with a top and bottom made from wood. The unit mounted into the rack is well protected. The mounting units on the front in my rack however are not positioned at the same hight. The mounted unit sits tilted, but it still fits. So this is more an optical point, but still it could have been done better.
I sometimes would prefer it, if you could remove the front door completly. If you have other rack equipment standing under this rack, the door has to be put under the rack.
Because of the bag on top of the rack it is not possible to put other racks on top of it, as you would with normal racks.
If you need the advantages in transportation a rackbag offers, this one is worth considering. Otherwise I would recommend a normal rack.

2 bits of rack gear in a shoulder bag
This is a very well designed bag that deals with those difficult situations where you need to get somewhere on foot with a couple of rack items. Only negative is that is is quite heavy after adding your kit so I would not recommend for long journeys. I have had this for a few years and it has no signs of wear.

Good
Overall great case! Features I miss which would be great is straps so you can wear it as a backpack and also a bigger zipper on the rear. The opening on the rear is relatively small I'd like to be as big as the front if possible. But I knew these things going in and I still like it very much!

Gator GRB-2U
The Gator GRB 2U is a case for your 19" gadgets. It is not a usually hard case like you know them. As a rule musicians use big cases which a made out of pure wood and aluminium and which weigh thousands of pounds.
The Gator instead is a lightweight. It is robust, because the inner is made out of wood which gaves it his stability, but rest is out of textile. You can open up the front and the back easily to cabling your amp or your equipment and the bag on the top gives you the possibilty to stow cables and other things.
A buy recommendation!
