About the product - this box for 8 units, to put it mildly, is not small, and heavy even in an empty form, and after loading it can not even try to lift. I want to mention that this is one of the lightest in its class, that is, in fact, if you have plans to carry on the rehearsals and concerts of your stuff with you and you are yourself a technician and porter, then this is the perfect option! This thing has wheels and a long handle that you start to appreciate insanely while you drag this crap to the car and from the car to the place and back, which will also save your back (and perhaps in the future will save the group). Very pleased
We use this for a mobile church in Romania. I specifically searched for a rack with wheels for easy transportation and this product is great for this application. Anyone can move this around even fully loaded (25-30kg). Since it doesn't require strong muscle-fit individuals or two regular persons to move this around is a great plus when doing it regularly because you can do it with few people.
Cons: The product did not have any indications for installation positioning (which side should be up and which should be down), so I had to watch videos on Gator website to see the positioning they are using. Conclusion: the side with wheels should be on floor.

Excellent Road Case for Light/Medium Duty
Very happy with this gator case and Thomann service. Item arrived in only 4 days in Canada from Germany via UPS.
Case is very sturdy, includes plenty of rack screw that mount firmly and overall this case has really helped me protect my gear. The pull handle and the wheels are a lifesaver too! Very pleased.

Tough, rugged and well made
Well made case from Gator as usual, no problems thus far. Gear went in fast and easily, with rack rails matching up perfectly. All hinges/locks seem to secure tightly and accurately and the wheels move smoothly.

Good quality
Not quite as sturdy as SKB, but if you feel you won't abuse your case with a bat, I think it's sufficient. Love the wheels! Saves me money for hospital bills, so should be break even in a year or two :-) If you are your own roadie (I am), buy. If not, save money and buy the SKB.
Mine is used for UI24R (4U), UHF-R (1U), drawer (2U) and power outlets (1U), so not very heavy equipment. I have another 2U Gator case for 2xIEM1000 (separate case, since it's not always needed).
Should probably consider SKB if It was used for heavier equipment.

Very versatile case
You can build your racks on both sides so if you can organize your stuff you can use fully one side and some of the other (because you will still want to have some space to put your hand inside).
The case can be a little difficult to handle if you need to walk with it on the street/city. But overall it is pretty good.

Good for LIVE Broadcast
I make many video LIVE Broadcasts to internet and TV a week and this Gator helps me a lot.
In there I have a powerful PC and it fits perfectly.
Also I have there 2 powerpanels, 1 POE+ switch, Presonus Rackable sound mixer and 2x Shure QLXD receivers.
In so many LIVE Broadcasts there have only pullying handle come a little bit loose, but it works perfectly fine.
I am very pleased with that case.
Without Gator I have to carry every device by hand to my car and back.
It sames more than 4 trips to car.
In there I have a powerful PC and it fits perfectly.
