I was in the process of buying a violin, and tried this one as well. The price, more or less, fairly represents the quality of this violin. The instrument was quite responsive, but has limited dynamics. I liked the strings Larsen Il Cannone. But, as G and D are silver wounded they may look black because of silver corrosion, as was in my case when the violin arrived.
