Love them! Dont use any other brand, I have them on all of my basses. Tried nearly every brand out there and still come back to Boomers.Springy Funky Sound and Dig in to get the growl! Excellent!

I tried a lot of strings years ago, and these ended up being my go to strings for bass. They record nicely and cut through the live mix and recorded mix without being too low-end heavy or over powering. The string squeak is present, but that is definitely my playing, and not a problem with the strings. For recording, they sit in the mix so nicely they don't require a lot of EQ work, that likely depends on the the bass and the player. I use a P-bass and play medium light in harder alternative rock. I do wish the price was a bit lower, like 20€ or so, but these are for sure worth the price.

excellentes cordes

l'avis de mecs qui changent leurs cordes pour la première fois depuis 5 ans ne compte pas et ceux qui vous diront " heu c'est chiant le son se matifie vite " croient qu'ils investissent pour 10 ans avec un jeu de cordes !
ne les écoutez pas c'est des débutants ignorants :
c'est parmi les meilleurs jeux de cordes du marché et pas cher ( et oui c'est un consommable qu'il faut changer souvent !!! c'est étonnant .. non ? ) donc pas cher c'est bien
le son se matifie au bout d'un certain temps oui mais de très belle façon ... j'aime beaucoup justement leur son mat et les premières heures sont pour moi les moins bonnes ..
je vous le conseil vivement .
en plus les bouts de cordes rouges ça déchire

Einmal probiert - nein danke!

Ich habe mich einmal statt der Ernie Balls für die GHS 3045 ML BOOMERS entschieden. Klanglich reichten sie nicht an die Ernie Balls heran. Auch vom Spielgefühl empfand ich sie lange nicht so angenehm wie die eben erwähnten Saiten. Sie waren nicht so schön "glatt" und "rutschig", was ein schnelles Solospiel oder auch schnelle Akordwechsel erschwerte.

Der anfängliche "OK"-Sound ging schnell verloren und nach einigen Tagen riss mir die erste Saite. Das heißt für mich: Back to the Roots. Nun spiele ich ausschließlich die 10er von Ernie Ball.
